The University of Granada and Quintauris create the Quintauris Aula to foster Innovation and RISC-V Architectures development

The agreement was signed on Tuesday, February 25, and the aula will carry out activities in innovation, training, and dissemination.

The University of Granada and Quintauris have signed a collaboration agreement to create the Quintauris Aula, dedicated to driving innovation, education, and knowledge exchange in the field of RISC-V and related technologies. The agreement for the creation of the Aula was signed this Tuesday by the Rector of the University of Granada, Pedro Mercado Pacheco, and the General Manager of Quintauris España S.L., Pedro López Estepa. Also present were the Director of Transfer and Research at UGR, Carlos Sampedro Matarín, the CEO of Quintauris, Alexander Kocher, the co-directors of the chair, Diego Pedro Morales Santos and Almudena Rivadeneyra Torres, as well as other representatives from both institutions.

The purpose of this Aula is to develop a wide range of activities focused on RISC-V, including specialized training programs, student internships, research collaboration, and workshops. Additionally, it promotes knowledge dissemination through conferences, publications, and networking events that connect the academic world with the business sector. Through these initiatives, the Aula aims to enhance educational opportunities, support talent development, and contribute to technological advancement.

Furthermore, it seeks to drive the global adoption of RISC-V and facilitate the development of next-generation hardware. The Aula has an initial duration of one year, extendable for up to four additional years with the agreement of both parties.

About Quintauris
